Optimize Your Donations with Your Objectives

Traditionally aid has been delivered by international charities with top heavy administrative structures. These charities work through diplomatic channels and spend a notoriously high proportion of the public’s money on administration and publicity costs. A lot of good work has been done but it has been achieved at a high cost and much aid has been pilfered by corrupt administrations

A small group of private individuals have come together to make a practical contribution – They call this enterprise Yebo Africa, which in some African tongues means Yes Africa.

The Dogs of Peace

Angola’s civil war raged for 28 years. Fuelled by the Cold War it managed to outlast for a decade, it left 1.5 million people dead and turned one of the world’s most resource-rich countries into an economic basket case. Martin Deeson of GQ Magazine travelled with Yebo Africa to Angola to witness the aftermath.

Mission Statement

Yebo Africa is a privately sponsored effort to bring practical, targeted and value-for-money assistance directly to the people in Africa in areas where it is most needed.

Yebo Africa is a strictly not-for-profit organisation and independent of any government agencies or NGO’s.

Yebo Africa is based on a ‘community to community’ ideology which receives donations of money and materials from communities of plenty and takes them to communities in need.

Yebo Africa covers all administration costs and expenses through sponsorship to ensure that all donations go directly to the people they are intended for and are not squandered on operational costs.
